In 2012 I interviewed and photographed Japanese-Canadian Frank Moritsugu for a story about war veterans. Moritsugu’s family lost everything during the second world war and were forced into camps. Even after the horrible treatment by the Canadian government, Moritsugu and other Japanese-Canadians still enlisted to fight for Canada.
